Introduction to the boat's safety equipment, including flares and emergency lines.
Intent is to sail in the Mull, Jura, Kintyre area this week before heading through the North Channel ( avoiding NI because of Brexit, IOM because of COVID and Cumbria, because it's the wrong side of the Pennines)!.and heading towards the Mersey.

Loch Aline to Tobermory. Not much wind so only got a half hour of mid-day sailing in. Skipper Robin Bolton taught basic crew skills such as knots and tacking. Hand-caught fish for lunch and curry for dinner.

Wednesday 11th August.
Day 4 started off with some challenging weather and force 6 winds. The reward was some beautiful island sights and calm sailing. Plenty of dolphins and seals spotted, finished off the evening with cheesecake and fishing.
