Army Inshore Sail Training Centre(South)
The Army Inshore Sail Training Centre(South) (AISTC(S)) is managed by the Royal Artillery Yacht Club (RAYC) and is looked after by members of the Royal Artillery who are qualified Royal Yacht Association (RYA) Instructors. Civilian ASA Instructors are also located at the site, providing the full range of sailing discipline expertise in one location.
The Centre runs windsurfing, dinghy sailing (including multi-hull and keel boat), powerboat, kitesurfing, RYA First Aid and marine VHF radio courses which are open to all Regular, Reserve and UOTC officers and soldiers. We also teach Stand Up Paddleboard when the winds are too light to sail. The Centre can tailor courses to meet individual and unit requirements.
Details of courses for 2021 may be found
