RAYC and the Little Ship Club
This week (9th February) we delivered an interest presentation on Gunner sailing to the Little Ship Club in London. The Club have given a warm welcome to the RAYC and we look forward to participating in each others' sailing activities this year. RAYC February Update - St Barbara V Hull Replacement Strategy
The hull replacement team met on the 2nd February to further discuss the courses of action for the type of vessel St Barbara VI could be and what our ambition is for activity aboard her. ARMY Windsurf Championships 2020
The Army Windsurf Champs 2020 took place on the waters off AISTC over the week 19-23 October. Due to covid restrictions numbers were capped at 15 from across the Army. The RA had 2 personnel in attendance, SSgt Barnes and SSgt Kerrison (Reservist) both in the open fleet. RA number were low due to other windsurfers being unavailable for the dates. Royal Artillery Yacht Club Regatta 2020
After much deliberation, planning, and multiple last minute adjustments we managed did it and managed to pull off an event on our 71st year! Despite Yarmouth Harbour being near capacity with two other rallies we were suitably accommodated and the eight yachts competing this year enjoyed excellent company from cockpit to cockpit. Army Windsurf Championships 2019
Last week (9th to 13th March) the 2019 Army Windsurf Championships were held at the Army Inshore Sail Training Centre on Thorney Island.
